Upon your arrival, transfer to a hotel close to the Airport.
Travel to the cultural triangle, on route visit the The Golden Temple of Dambulla, the largest and best preserved cave Temple in Sri Lanka. Though there are approx. 80 documented caves in the surrounding area, it is the main 5 caves that house the statues of Lord Buddha and the Bodhisatta as well as the painting.
In the evening, relax in the swimming pool or experience an Ayurevdic massage (optional).
Early morning excursion to Sigiriya Rock Fortress, deemed to be the 8th man-made wonder of the world. The palace atop the rock was built during the reign of King Kashyapa during the 5th century and is adorned with beautiful frescoes of cloud maidens. Sigiriya is a UNESCO World Heritage site and is amazing.
Proceed to the medieval capital of Polonnaruwa, one of the great urban centres in South Asia. Today, the well-preserved ruins give you the chance to experience the grandeur of this period and marvel at the artistry of the island’s early craftsmen. “The Sea of King Parakrama”, this man-made reservoir is vast and was built during the reign of King Parakramabahu the Great.
Experience the nature and culture of the real Sri Lankan village. Tour starts with a bullock cart ride, experience a boat ride to the next side of the village. After a short walk through the paddy field and vegetable cultivation, you reach to a village house where you can see a village woman making ‘roti’. At the end, you will be taking a tuk tuk ride.
Proceed to Kandy, on the way visit a spice garden in Matale.
Explore the city of Kandy including The Sacred Temple of the Tooth known as “The Sri DaladaMaligawa: one of the two most important Buddhist Temples in Sri Lanka. Located in the Royal Palace Complex of the former Kandyan Kingdom, it houses the relic of the Tooth of Lord Buddha. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Royal Botanical Garden in Peradeniya, which is renowned for its collection of orchids. The garden includes more than 4000 species of plants, including orchids, spices, medicinal plants and palm trees.
Witness the Cultural show in the evening
Transfer to the land of tea plantations in Nuwara Eliya, on the way visit a functional tea factory, where you will be on a guided tour.
Visit the Gregory Lake and proceed to Nanu Oya Railway Station to take the train up to Ella. Your driver will be at the Railway Station to collect you and will transfer to your hotel by vehicle.
Experience the surroundings of tea plantations by walk and set out on a hiking
adventure to Little Adam’s Peak. Explore Nine Arch Bridge, Ella Gap and Ravana Water Fall
Transfer to Yala, the second largest National Park in Sri Lanka and consists of 5 blocks covering an area of 979 square kilometers. Among its more famous residents are the leopard, elephant, sloth bear, sambar and jackals.

Early morning safari at Yala National Park and return to the hotel for breakfast.
Evening day excursion to Katharagama, a pilgrimage town sacred to Hindu, Buddhist and indigenous Vedda people in Sri Lanka. The ancient Kiri Vehera which is believed to be built by the regional king Mahasena in the 3rd century BCE is also a major attraction in Kataragama area. The town has the Kataragama Hindu Temple, a shrine dedicated to Skanda Kumara also known as Kataragama deviyo.
Transfer to your favourite parts of the island, Southern Coast or Southern west coast. Perfect place to relax on the beach.

Whale watching (November to April), surfing, diving, snorkeling.
Visit Galle Fort, a historical, archaeological and architectural heritage monument built first in 1588 by, then the Portuguese extensively fortified by the Dutch. The main landmark in Galle is the beautifully preserved 36-ha (90 acre) Dutch Fort. Its gateway’s 14m (45 ft) thick walls were built to withstand enemy cannonballs.
